Sweet Bitchin Sauce

Sweet Bitchin Sauce

by Sean Willis

If it's sweet, give it to me! I am a sucker for sweet things, so when I saw that Bitchin had two NEW sweet sauces I was freaking out. I quickly grabbed them and ran to the checkout at Whole Foods to get home and try them.

The first one I tried was the Chocolate Sweet Sauce. What an incredible creation! This is a creamy, thick, chocolate sauce that tastes (wait for it...) like BROWNIE BATTER. Not kidding, I could eat this all day long! I tried it with apples and it was delicious, but realized strawberries may have blown the apples out of the park. The texture is not hummus like but more creamy and pudding like, it's rich, but not too sweet. Highly recommend this Bitchin Chocolate Sweet Sauce.

What I was really excited for though was the Bitchin Salted Caramel Sweet Sauce. I must say though I was less impressed with the salted caramel, not because it wasn't good, but just not as good as the Chocolate Sauce. Plus, I am sorta hooked on my homemade vegan salted caramel recipe and this unfortunately didn't compare. I'd recommend it, but I wouldn't rave about it if that makes sense?

Overall, we love what Bitchin is doing and expanding outside of their base products to offer some tasty plant based options no matter what we're craving!
